15 NOVEMBER 2017 • BUENOS AIRES • ARGENTINA
City leaders from Asia, Africa and Latin America will be sharing the challenges and opportunities, innovative solutions and cases, and defining critical enablers for implementation, such as access to financing and adaptive regulations to define a roadmap for sustainable wastewater management and reuse for 2030.
The Wastewater as a Resource Leaders Forum brings together leaders across municipalities, utilities, regulators, and basin authorities, to exchange transformative knowledge and lessons learned on the wastewater reuse potential.
The way we think about water plays a crucial role in developing liveable cities. It is through learning from each other’s experiences that we can move forward on the innovation path, replicating and accelerating actions to transition to water-wise cities.
The key outputs of this Forum will be to define actions that are most needed to move forward to resource recovery and reuse. Through your participation, you will learn from others and you will contribute to moving the discussion forward for the entire professional community.
The structure of the sessions will include scene setting, presentations, and standing discussions, intended to maximize the exchange between key stakeholders. City leaders from around the world will contribute to this event by sharing the challenges and opportunities, innovative solutions and cases, and defining critical enablers for implementation, such as access to financing and adaptive regulations towards an action agenda for sustainable wastewater management and reuse. Presentations will be given by leading experts on regulatory incentives, market conditions and institutional arrangement.
